The College Students

Like in many other decades, we have massive political statements being made by our youth! The question remains, do they really understand what they are saying? Or are they just following the crowd! Where has the students from past decades gone and what have they learned. The answer is simple, they grew up and learned what the real world is all about! Not just the world the think exist. They find out after college that when you work, all your pay from January 1 thru July 1, is given to the Gov't for supporting their programs and the freeloaders, illegals and others that take advantage of what we give out free. The rich don't care, they have enough money where it doesn't affect them, the poor pay nothing and receive all the benifits, without having to work for it. The illegals, just feel, it's owed to them. We have illegals attending college in this country on funds from the Gov't, when even our own children cannot get in with us working and trying to pay. Who gave these programs to the freeloaders?
Thru the years the Democratic Party was in power and pushed thru these bills to help the average individual. But as time went on the party passed amendments to the original bills which included everyone, regardless of their status. Today, if you are from the middle class, you generally won't get the help your parents look for to attend college. The middle class pays for the programs, but has to fight like hell to try and get support. Again, the poor and the rich have no problems! With the influx of illegal immigrants into our country (est. 20-30 million), it cost the american public an average of $21,000.00 per year/ illegal to keep them here. Again who pays for it? You don't, while going to school! That figure doesn't take into consideration the cost of medical care we give them. Try sometime to get into a hospital, emergency room! They do not pay and get everything free. Ever think, why our cost of self health insurance is so high or why the hospitals are going broke? When we are kids we like to look at everything thru rose colored glasses! but as we mature the real world comes into play.
Tell me, who in Washington today, is looking out for you and your future children? Where will we be ten (10) years from now, it gets here faster than you think. During the past 20 years, the Democrats have proposed a new Health Plan for all citizens! What has been done to date, nothing! Even John Kerry had this plan as part of his last campaign, what has he done since the last election to get a bill introduced? Hillary, is also promising us a new plan, i wouldn't hold my breath.
All the fat cats now in office, need to be removed! Especially the ones that have been in for extended years! What do they do? Has there been any program introduced within the past ten (10) years that you can say is beneficary to you and your family? The Democrats introduced, welfare to help the poor, but what did it turn out to be. Nothing but a means, to keep people poor, get votes and keep them depressed. The recievers of the services, in many cases have been on programs for decades. Ask yourself, what am i entitled too? Once again, we pay for it we support them, they get everything for free, with no responsibility to work or provide. The theory, keep them there, comfortable, content and ask them for a vote when we need it! Should this round of Illegal Imigrants be allowed into the country fre of charge, haw much more will it cost you? They already get Social Security Benefits, But thats for another day.

The Average Guy

Today, being the first day of this new blog, i feel it is important to start with, thoughts of the day!

As i look around, what i see is the beginning of the end of a great country! A place where people tend to follow, not lead! The political future of where we are going to go is rapidly approaching and where we stop will determine the future.
We Americans have become passive and believe we know it all. We complain about what is going on, yet when the time comes to act (vote), we let the other guy do it for us. Thirty or forty percent votes are considered huge turnouts. Apathy is rampant in this country. We do not have the politicians working for the people they work for themselves, or do as they are told by other party members! The choice to stand alone and represent the people is diminishing fast. Where do we go from here? Looks like downhill!!
We need a voice to be heard and acted upon, we need "We The People" to get back on track and get out to vote before the machine takes over. Think about how much voice you now have with any of your elected officials. Do they represent you or do they represent themselves and their party?
