Thinking

The past few weeks have been very busy and i have not had the chance to write down my thoughts! Looking over , what has transpired the past few weeks, i guess i will start here.
When we are young, we tend to go with the flow of the times, we follow those we think have the answers! Why should we be an individual thinker and not a follower? The reason is simple. Just look at those, five to ten years older. Are they the same as they were when they were your age? We live in a very demanding time, where people who we think are our friends (like the Saudi's and other friendly arab nations) really are not. Just look what has happened during the last five years in the area of oil pricing. When the war started, we were paying on average, $30.00-$35.00/barrel. Today the price is $115.00/barrel! Why so much? Trying to bring a democratic state into the Arab Countries is reaping havock with their leaders! Who will be hurt the most if Democracy prevails? The Shieks and all their dictatorships, that have been in power for a thousand years and refuse to let their people get educations, feel freedom, have a right to their own religion, etc.. The war has put pressure on them and they can see a possible effect on their continued control over the masses. How can they fight us without military attacks? The price of OIL! OUR FRIENDS? Countries we have gone overboard to help in the past and what do we get for it. Answer, "the big salami"!
Oil effects everything, from the cost of your food to the cost of your heat and gas for the car. What we need to do is initiate immediate tarrifs on everything we export to the oil producing countries. As oil pricing goes up, proportinate cost should be put on everything we export to them. Lets be fair to the prices we receive and the prices we charge. Why should they charge us these unrealistic prices. They want to force us out of their area of the world where people are used as slaves to their way of thinking and have no possible way of speaking for themselves. Our $4.00/gallon of gas is just around the corner! The rich get richer and the poor get poorer! They are forcing us to devaluate our dollar and destroy our way of life. But what about our own oil companies, here in the US & Canada?
Exon, made the highest profis made by any Corporation in the history of the world (2007). Why is this ? ALL of the oil and gas we receive comes from the US< Canada, Mexico or Venesuala! How come we pay the rate established by the OPEC Group? The simple answer is GREED! Our politicians cater to the oil and gas lobbies and we pay for it. American oil and gas companies, havn't built a new refinery here in the US, since the 50's. Any other major corporation that doesn't invest in the control and manufacture of their products would be bankrupt and out of business. Not the oil boys, they do nothing but complain that environmental issues, prevent them from building. Thats BS and they know it. The US and Canada have been building oil fields in Alaska, northern Canada and other major locations throughout our countries, for the past 30 years but what have we seen. We only hear about Arab oil! Why don't they talk about our oil? The answer is they don't want us to know what they really have! Everytime we have a blip, such as Hurricanes, Northeasters, etc. they tell us there is a shortage. Just like in the winter months when we need fuel oil, they cut back on supplies and tell us there are shortages and we have to pay more. Why do we have to pay more for natural gas? The product is strictly produced in the US or Canada an piped underground to your home or business. I guess the oil companies feel there is going to be an earthquake with the Hurricane! Natural Gas reserves are second to none, both here and in Canada. Some of the greatest finds in history lie just off Canada's and the US shores. Ask yourself, why arn't we using hydrogen or other fuels to propel the automotive industry? Certainly it would be cheaper and more fuel efficient than gas. The oil companies and their political friends don't want to put it thru. We have the same politicians in office, year after year. How much do they know about what it's like to work for almost 7 months without getting paid, just to support all the freeloaders and illegals here in this country and the last 5 months we try to pay our bills and survive! The family structure here is all but gone! We depend on both parents to work to try and provide for the family. Certainly, if we didn' have the freeloaders and illegals who take advantage of our great country's programs, we might be able to get back to one working parent. The illegals and others who come here, expect us to cater to their needs and feel we owe this to them! We have to work two jobs, have our wives work and still we can't make ends meet. Yet, we have to have Spanish teachers in our schools, publish everything in two languages (or more), provide free hospital care for them, when many of us can't afford the care and get refused when we try! I guess it would be the same for me if i went to a Spanish speaking country, they would give me everything for free and tell their people to go out and work extra, so they could provide me with these comforts. They would then provide me with aninterperter to assist me in my everyday life's needs and would not require me to learn or speak their language! "BS". The time has come to act,by thinking about who represents you and what they bring to the table, which supports your views and not theirs! Should we not do something during this election period, we may be to late! 20-30 million more illegals? Where does this take us? Thousands of legal immigrants trying to come into our country to help with their gifts of many diverse occupations. The same way as many of our parents or grandparents did. They worked hard, played hard, fought hard and gave us what we now have. Many of them, including our forefathers are rolling over in their graves, looking at where we are today. Sorry for all the rambling in this session, but i say it as it comes! Till next time
